Client: HealthFirst Hospitals
Location: Regional Medical Center in Melbourne Florida
Challenge: Our client needed to upgrade campus wide bandwidth to OC-3. Customer owned existing fiber, but not the expertise to design, engineer, and deploy the Optical switches.
Solutions: Intellispring consulted with customer and recommended a plan to deploy new hardware with no impact to hospital staff or patients. Due to the nature of the client and its obvious need for no downtime, this was again a critical deployment. Extra planning was used to ensure customer success with no added cost to the customer.
Business Impact: Cutover from existing network to the new DWDM network went smooth and as advertised. No impact was felt by the staff and stakeholders never experienced any downtime.
